? What documents will I need to get a home loan?

When engaging the services of a Mortgage Broker as part of the process we will ask you to provide supporting documentation. This is used to assess your financial situation as the bank would, reviewing assets and liabilities, income, expenses and savings and finally your ability to repay the loan.

?‍♀️ What supporting documentation do we ask for?

Proof of ID (100 point check)

Passport and/or drivers Licence

Birth Certificate, credit or debit card or a Medicare card

Income Details

Wage or Salary employee

2 of your most recent pay slips

Latest Notice of Assessment or PAYG Summary

Self–employed

Last 2 years tax returns

Last 2 years Notice of Assessment

** Others documents may be requested depending on the structure of your business/Company

Other, if applicable

If you have rental properties, you’ll need a current signed Lease agreement, rental statements and/or bank statement showing regular rental payments to your account.

Evidence of Savings

Term deposit statement or savings account statement for the last 3 months

Current Loans or Credit

Credit Card and loan Statements, this included Interest free credit cards, store cards, Afterpay and ZipPay facilities for the last 6 months.

Regular Expenses

Knowing how much you spend on things on a regular basis such as:

  • Rent
  • Utilities
  • Insurance
  • Food
  • Childcare Fees/School

Insurance Details

Annual Superannuation Statement

Insurance policies you hold including life, TPD or trauma and income protection insurance

If applicable:

Purchasing a New House

Signed copy of the contract of sale

If you’re building your home, a builder’s contract and approved building plans

 

Refinancing your home loan or Investment Loan

Last 6 months home loan statements

Rates notices for the property being refinanced
